Best Samurai Souvenir Shop in Tokyo? Visiting “Sengokudama” (戦国魂) at Tokyo Skytree.
Experience the Sengoku Period in the Heart of Tokyo!
Hello, I’m Shin.
On May 7, 2023, I visited a specialty samurai goods shop called Sengokudama Tenshoki(戦国魂天正記), located inside Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi.
If you’re looking for Sengoku-era souvenirs in Tokyo, this is one of the most unique places to explore !!
I’ve been collecting Sengoku warlord goods for years, and recently I felt the urge to add something new to my collection—so I decided it was time to visit again.⚔️

It was actually my first time visiting Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi.
I arrived around lunchtime, so before heading to the shop, I stopped at a ramen restaurant inside the Solamachi shopping area for a quick meal.

Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi is home to a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
With so many options available, you’ll likely find yourself wondering what to choose as a souvenir from your trip to Tokyo.
Though the shop is relatively compact, it is packed with samurai-themed goods that are sure to excite any Sengoku enthusiast.

I finally arrived at the samurai specialty shop, Sengokudama Tenshoki (戦国魂天正記).
The moment I caught a glimpse of the rows of Sengoku-themed merchandise, my inner samurai enthusiast immediately came alive. 🔥🥰

Sanada Yukimura (真田幸村)’s armor is displayed right in front of the shop.
It’s undeniably impressive.
Although the store itself is not very large, it offers a surprisingly wide range of items—from stationery such as keychains, pencil boards, and clear files to towels, traditional tenugui cloths, and T-shirts.
If you’re a fan of Sengoku-era goods, this shop is definitely worth a visit !!
I picked up three items to fuel my Sengoku passion even further!
After spending quite some time wondering which items to choose,
I finally decided on the following three.

First, I chose a T-shirt featuring the Shimazu clan, one of the powerful daimyo families of the Sengoku period.
The price was ¥2,750.
There were many other designs available—featuring famous warlords such as Oda Nobunaga (織田信長), Sanada Yukimura (真田幸村), and Date Masamune (伊達政宗)—but I ultimately chose this one for its overall color balance and clean design.

I also picked up a coaster featuring the family crest of Shima Sakon (島左近)—a loyal retainer of Ishida Mitsunari (石田三成)—as well as a tumbler decorated with the crests of various daimyo who fought in the Battle of Sekigahara (関ヶ原の戦い).
The coaster cost ¥220, and the tumbler was ¥1,770.
In total, I spent ¥4,740 (tax included).
Not bad at all.
I’ll continue my castle explorations while admiring these items each day and keeping my Sengoku passion alive. 🏯
If you’re interested in samurai history and looking for a unique souvenir in Tokyo, Sengokudama Tenshoki (戦国魂天正記) at Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi is well worth a visit.
While the shop itself is compact, it offers a wide selection of Sengoku-themed merchandise—from everyday items like T-shirts and drinkware to accessories featuring authentic Kamon (家紋:family crests) of famous warlords.
For travelers who may not have time to visit multiple castle sites, this shop provides an easy and accessible way to experience a piece of Japan’s Sengoku culture right in the heart of Tokyo.
Whether you are a dedicated history enthusiast or simply searching for a meaningful souvenir, stopping by this samurai specialty store can add a memorable cultural touch to your Tokyo trip.
